
Anna-Maria Wiljanen (Finland), M.Sc.,PhD in Art History was elected as the first Secretary in NORDIK’s history in 2009 and had the post until 2015, when she was elected as a membert of the board. She works as a Executive Director at the UPM-Kymmene Cultural Foundation. Se has previously worked as a Communication Manager at the Finnish National Gallery. Her research interests are the social networks, tourism and gender matters in the context of the artists’ colonies in Finland and in Europe. The title of her dissertation was “Nej, i sanning, ett bättre ställe kunde den unga målaren ej kunnat hamna på”: Önningeby konstnärskoloni och de mångfacetterade sociala nätverkens interaktion.
